Working on a new top-down shooter

I have just finished my last project, and I am moving to catching up on some previous work. I announcing my efforts in to publishing a top-down shooter. Unlike your traditional top-down shooters, this one is not set in space. The theme will be nautical with the player as a boat. I am using a 3d models for my ship and obstacles, so this will be a new challenge.
